Filtration technology of butyl inner tube

Latex reclaimed rubber and butyl reclaimed rubber in reclaimed rubber are ideal raw materials for producing inner tubes, especially butyl reclaimed rubber that can replace butyl rubber to produce butyl inner tubes. At present, many inner tube processing enterprises add appropriate proportion of butyl reclaimed rubber to butyl inner tube. When butyl rubber/reclaimed rubber is used to produce inner tube, not only attention should be paid to the mixing ratio, formula design and mixing process of reclaimed rubber, but also a particularly important process-rubber filtration.
Butyl inner tube is a typical thin-walled rubber product, which requires extremely high cleanliness of the rubber compound. Impurities in the butyl rubber compound not only affect the appearance of the butyl inner tube, but also seriously affect the air tightness and tear strength of the butyl inner tube. Therefore, glue filtering is a process that must be carried out during the processing of the butyl inner tube. The glue filtering process is the process in which the rubber compound passes through a screen to filter impurities, the mechanical impurities inside butyl rubber and butyl reclaimed rubber are filtered out.
Butyl rubber/reclaimed rubber compound in the rubber filter operation, need to pay attention to the following issues:
1. Butyl inner tube rubber material needs to be preheated before filtering. During preheating, the temperature of different parts of the filter machine is different, which needs to be determined by the inner tube processing enterprise according to actual needs.
2. In order to avoid early vulcanization of butyl rubber/reclaimed rubber during filtration, sulfur, accelerator and other compounding agents are added after the filtration is completed. The heat generated when the rubber material is filtered is large, and measures must be taken to strengthen the cooling of the rubber filter. After the filtration is completed, the rubber material can be cooled by tabletting with an open mill and fully cooled.
